Hello fellow Bucks fans, i just wanted to spread some info that some might not know about Shannon. this year Shannon is DHing for Moeller, big stick, terrible glove, good pitcher.
i really hope Beals lets this kid pitch because i think he has elite level talent as a pitcher. The Coaching staff timed him as high as 93 recentley as he has gotten stronger since the BPR came out saying he was 86-88 range. Beals said he timed him at 91-93 range. Shannon also has a 11-5 Curve (or just a regular curve ball) that sits around mid 70s and a chance that sits mid 70s. right now he is a thrower and not a pitcher, he really only has good command of his fastball.
as a pitcher he has pitched in only 2 games he has 4 IP 6 Ks 0 Walks 0 Hits 1 Save 0 ER. although if he gets over the 95 mark i doubt he steps foot on campus, but we can all hope right? as a hitter Shannon in 17 games he is batting .327 with a OBP of .424. 7 out of his 16 hits this year have been extra base hits (3 2B, 2 2B, 2 HR) he also has already 19 RBI this year.
