My suggestion FWIW just take her back to where you first kissed, or where you proposed to her and tell her that was when you decided that you loved here and wanted to spend the rest of your life with her. Also that your love has only grown stronger since that day. Chances are she will rape you at the first opportunity.
The good news is you don't have to buy her anything so you can buy more beer for after you get your reward.

I have class that night...and if I didn't I would probally work. To many people think they need to go out on v-day for me not to work. Would be giving up way to much money.

We will do something small, probally just make dinner and watch a movie some other night since with our schedules we dont get allot of time for date nights anyway right now

I know you were't directing that at me, but I don't think there is anything wrong with going out. I've made dinner for my girlfriend in years past and we eat dinner together at home all the time. We realized that beacuse of our schedules we don't get to go out to dinner nearly as often as we would like, so we use special occasions like Valentine's Day to go to the places we often don't take time out of our lives to go to.

I think going out or staying in are both fine...as long as you are doing what she wants to do...
