I'm in a random ESPN, just picked one and it had a lot of positions to fill.

Following this week I will currently be 3-2. I lost week one by 5 points and last week by 11 points. Blew both the wins on the last day of the week, Sunday.

I picked up Zobrist, Pence, and Stanton after the first week off waivers. I guess since they had a bad week one the owner decided to release them. I took the risk and picked them up because I wouldn't release a pretty good player like that just because they had a bad week one. I would say that has worked out for me great. Gaby Sanchez and Leo Nunez were my last two picks in the draft and they both are off to a hot start. I had the first pick in the draft and I selected Pujols. I also had Gordon Beckham for my second baseman but I have let him go for Cabrera right now. The one is hitting the other is struggling. I also just completed a trade to get Teixeira.

I need to upgrade my infield as I feel that is my weakest link right now. I'm gonna try and get one of the better SS or 3B in the league by packaging a couple players for them. I'm not sure how that will work but I'm gonna look into that.

How does my team look to you? Any suggestions?

My opinion is that the league must be a shallow league or filled with inactive owners. How many teams are in the league? How many active owners?

For a deep league (meaning you start a lot more than a typical league daily) you have a lot of quality players and it is difficult to judge how good/bad your team is.

I've taken about 3 years to build that team and I've been #1 in the regular season for 2 years with no championships to back it up. Sad :(

I wasn't really satisfied with my team after the draft. I mean my team I felt was good but not the best. I knew my pitching would be great but my offense would struggle. So when I seen Zobrist and Pence hit the market I picked them up regardless of their start after the first week. I'll stick with them through their trouble because I know they will overcome that and have a good season still.


Your team looks great. That pitching staff is scary good. Your lineup is also really good. Great outfield. You're for sure gonna be in the running for the top team again. With that team I wouldn't be surprised to finally see you get that Championship this year.
