All-American
But adult obesity rates continue to increase. Amazingly enough, the fitness industry has never been at a higher zenith, yet people are still gaining weight.

When will we stop hearing complaints about "my metabolism is slow, so I won't workout."
I swear, every time diet comes up around people, someone who is overweight will throw that excuse out. The fact is, you're only using that as a rationalization for your condition.
Even worse, I can't go to the damn grocery store anymore to find some food that doesn't have either Hydrogenated Oil, or High Fructose Corn Syrup in it. Both of which are pretty much the worst things you can have in terms of gaining weight. I bought a loaf of wheat bread a month or two ago since obviously wheat has less of the simple carbs in it. I then look on the back label only to find High fructose corn syrup as the second ingredient.
The worst part is I know so many families who don't even drink milk, juice or water at dinner anymore. They only drink pop. They eat chips as an everyday thing, they don't teach or even give two shits about their health, and the worst part is they don't care if their kids eat pizza, pop and candy all day. I really feel bad for the kids who grow up in these families to get juvenile diabetes and get made fun of at school by kids who were fortunate enough to either have an extremely fast metabolism, or a family who gives a crap about their health.
