LOS ANGELES ? Gidget the Chihuahua, the bug-eyed, big-eared star of 1990s Taco Bell commercials who was a diva on and off the screen, has died. She was 15.

Police arrest third suspect in robbery of dying woman at drive-through

Danielle Zimmerman, 43, suffered a brain aneurysm as she was driving through the Taco Bell drive-through lane at 3725 E. Harry on the evening of Dec. 29. Her truck crashed into a speaker in the drive-through lane. She died the next day.

By the time emergency responders arrived, someone stole her purse, credit cards, telephone and wedding ring. The ring was removed from Zimmerman’s finger.
