Just looking back over the "owned" threads for a laugh and found this one. It's been a couple of years since the original post... so... where's the pix? I'm sure she's a darling.
And anyone caring to read the old thread (http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/forum/open-discussion-work-safe/14842-yes-i-am-owned.html) and sees that yes, in fact, causticmic does have a heart... I'd like to see his little ones as well.
I saw that there were some other posters in the thread that had close calls during delivery. Our second was definately a close call too. Was as close to having an "on the spot" c-section as I care to go through. Head nurse during delivery asked the Dr. if she should be calling NICU. I don't think that I was supposed to have heard her. Thank God the wife didn't understand what was going on. There was a knot in the line and it was tied around his neck... every contraction was cutting off O2 for the little guy. I pray that this is something that none of you will ever go through. Net net, all is fine... and now we have a future ILB recruit for the class of 2023.
Safe to say that his older brother will be playing golf. I actually tried to get the spelling of his name changed to Nicklaus while my wife was sedated. Didn't work :(
Anyhow...
Calling you all out because I have two of the greatest little Buckeyes on the face of the Earth myself (see avitar). They are growing up in Chicagoland but pine (no joke) to get to the Shoe every year. Their Christmas gift to their Gradpa (my dad) was tix to a game for all three generations to be in the Shoe at the same time... It was my oldest boy's idea. He just turned six. I'm sure that he didn't have any idea how special the thought was, but it was his idea nonetheless. God bless us all of us in Buckeye Nation.
Before my boys I was hardly one who had a heart for kids... but now... nothing better than seeing them grow up to be future Buckeyes! (OK, I'll let them both go to Princeton -- but only if they are majoring in Math AND playing LAX.) Either way, if 'tis a Math degree OR LAX... to CBUS they are a headed!
So, bring on the pix.
