Screw Blue
  • Who's been a bigger disappointment

    Jamal Lewis
    Andy Reid

I said Jamal Lewis, he hasn't done crap this year and really doesn't have that many reasons why not, granted his QB's have sucked and they dont have any kind of passing game, but he still hasn't done squat.

Andy Reid had the TO ordeal, so as much as I hate him, he gets a pass.

Not even a question. Andy Reid had the whole TO thing, he lost his quarterback (injured first game, ended up going on IR later on), lost most of his starting offensive line, lost their top cornerback (Lito Sheppard), lost one of their main RBs (Correll Buckhalter), lost Todd Pinkston (would have been #1 receiver with TO gone), lost Brian Westbrook eventually, and one of their up and coming DE's (Jerome McDougle) was shot in the summer and has been out since.

    Jamal Lewis just sucked.

No question. It's got to be Jamal Lewis. He went from 2,000+ yards from two years ago, and now he will most likely fail to reach 1,000 this year. Fortunately for Lewis, he gets to face the Browns this week. A team that he's had a little success with in the past.

As someone who had Jamal Lewis on his fantasy team I'll go with him. He sucked the whole season for no reason. Reid didn't have a chance with all the sh!t that was flying around him.
On a side note I'll give Larry Johnson the award for biggest surprise if the season for saving said fantasy team.

A good offensive day from the Ravens and I will hopefully win 3rd place in Deuce. I picked up Boller and put in Lewis instead of Dillon hoping they will play well since they might have something to play for unlike the Pats who will probably rest guys for next week. I'm a Browns fan, but it looks like they gave up on the season last week.

ScarletBlood summed it up-Winning 8 games w/ everything happening that possibly could to his team was an accomplishment for Reid. Lewis has essentially the same line and better QB/WRs around him as he did the season he rushed for 2,066 yards. I just read John Feinstein's book Next Man Up, about the Raven's 2004 season, and Lewis came off across as a prima donna type, always looking to everyone else to make excuses about hisbehavior, attitude, and/or lack of production. I've seen rumblings that he will not be a Raven next year-whether thru trade or FA, I'm not sure. I think the Ravens are saying good riddance.
