We don’t know what the deal is with the source of where image was supposedly snapped from, but apparently during a really janky lookin’ Espanol Xbox 360 presentation, one slide showed off a qwerty keyboard-equipped controller. The translation, friends, is utterly shocking:

• QWERTY keyboard
• Attached to the controller
• Send text messages or chat during the game

I don't have that many thumbs.

Ummm... Why in the world would I want to chat with a bunch of 12 year old boys pretending to be 20 year old boys when I can get on the internet, and chat with 40 year old girls pretending to be 20 year old girls. I mean, even for the desperate and pathetic like myself, there are better options than this.

Don't they realize that if people wanted to control their games with a keyboard, they'd just play them on a fucking computer, where the graphics are way better. Those who can't... console.

Screw that xbox sucks I somehow got suckered into buyin one. I love my ps2!

Maybe that's just an additional feature you can buy extra.

I have no desire for it. However, I cannot wait for the release of 360.

definitely not a standard controller. People type on blackberry's and smartphones all of the time, they are just as small.

Anyway, I won't be getting one. just passing along an interesting feature.

Where it would save time is not having to type in menu text, you could just name your players, save your games, etc, with the keyboard.
