It's gonna have to get cheaper than that for me to buy one. But at least it's going in the right direction. Sounds good to me.

Me thinks XBox has noticed the sharp increase of PS3 being sold thanks to their price drop. With all the new games coming out this fall it is smart to get as many consoles out in the market.

There isn't enough football in the world today
Microsoft just announced today that there will be a price cut on all forms of the Xbox 360. Looks like $50 off the elite(now $449), $50 off the Premium(now $349) and $20 off the Core(now $279).

Yeah I just found a few game places around me that are selling refurbished 360's for $189. I'm really close to going out and buying one next friday and trading in my PS2.

Ok it's official. I got the x box 360 earlier today and just got done playing with it. Pretty cool, don't know if there is that much difference from the PS2 but I'm sure I'll see more things as time goes on.

that's a question I need to look into because they make it look new as far as including it with the instruction manual/warranty info. in plastic that hasn't been open. I need to check it out cause the back end of the damn machine is getting really warm. It's a pretty cool game system I just gotta get some sort of memory for it....I don't have any now/couldn't afford it at this time. As far as warranty from the store I bought it at they said it is 30 days. I could of done one with the store for a year for an extra 30 bucks but I just didn't have enough of the green stuff.Bucks21;900159; said:

Nope didn't come with a hard drive it was a refurbished one and it is the core model. Still I got it for only $189.mstevmac;900895; said:

That's on the programmers more than the console. They sacrificed speed for looks, from what I've seen from EA Sports. Other games play faster.
