Somebody needs to explain to Bill Raftery how Twitter works, because his tweets are nonsense. I like to follow some of the CBS & ESPN personalities because they give some great in-game updates. Raftery, on the hand, randomly tweets his catch phrases in the middle of the night, or early in the morning, when there aren't even any games going on.

Really Raf, tweeting "ONIONS!" and "A LITTLE LINGERIE!" at 8:30 in the AM? WTF!?

It'd be like following Stuart Scott on Twitter only to have him post "Booyah!" over-and-over again.

I have started looking for a new position so we can return to the Midwest and be closer to our families. One of the things that I am reading a lot about in terms of the job search, is the use of Twitter.

Anyone have any experience with what you would put on a twitter account that would matter for a company looking to potentially hire you? Would they follow you during the hiring process? Do you put this on your resume just like your email address?

I'm not sure about using Twitter with a resume, but you can search for job feeds listed that way. I tweeted something I wrote on a Joomla forum and suddenly had three freelancing sites following from seeing the keyword. Haven't taken any of that work yet, but they're awesome sources I wouldn't have found outside of Twitter. There might be agencies or listings sites you can follow for the area you want.

It might also be helpful to follow companies you like, so if they mention expansion, you can get an application in quickly.
