There was a local band (Amherst, Mass) called Foreign Objects that did a wrestling-themed album, with the "hit" song being "Wrestling Is Real." Unfortunately, I don't still have a copy of that album.So, I think of odd things from time to time, and this morning was pondering what my top five pro-wrestling-themed band names would be. Also, the NYC band Killdozer 85, on their album There's No Mistaking Quality (released appropriately on Lucha Libre records), has a song called The Butcher's Big Score about Abdullah the Butcher. Here are some of the lyrics:

The Dictators (from the Bronx) were huge wrestling fans, and their "secret weapon" - Handsome Dick Manitoba - appeared on the cover of their first album dressed in wrestling gear:
