They were both IC champs, right at the time that secondary belts went from elevation/work rate pieces to garbage props. Well, at least WWE didn't run an angle where a guy became champ by actually finding the belt in the garbage ohhh Russo

I was hoping Samoa Joe woulda won....that roof woulda flown off.

But Bobby Roode and Kota Ibushi joining WWE/NXT? Talk about pressure on the guys on the current roster.....

Hopefully they let Shinsuke fly through NXT and get to the main roster.....with him, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Brock, Bray.....you could have a very, very bright future.....but we'll probably just get more Roman & Big Show & Kane & Orton & Cena....

Plus I have heard that SJ might debut on MNR this week, so it makes sense he doesn't get the NXT belt

I kept hearing Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson would debut tomorrow night with Finn Balor....wonder if him retaining the NXT belt changes that or if he still debuts?

I had heard Balor is still going to be the face of NXT, so it will be interesting to see what they decide to do there.

Combine that with some of the talk of a Smackdown vs. Raw split up.....so hoping that is not a thing.

Balor, Joe, Gallows, Anderson.....I wonder if Austin Aries stays in NXT or gets the bump.
