So far I’m a tad underwhelmed by DSOTR...the Pillman episodes were decent enough, but I don’t think they really went deep enough into how much the Loose Cannon affected the direction and fates of both WWF and WCW in 1996-97, or how fast he went off a cliff after his accident. The Gage episode was meh for me.
I’ll say this though, anyone who thinks heroin or meth ain’t bad for you, look at Brian’s former model widow...hoh lee fuk
There were a few duds in the other 2 seasons as well, so I’m not giving up yet, but it seemed to me they covered way more in 2 episodes of Benoit than they did with PillmanI can't believe she agreed to be on camera. I think VICE just shot their load on season one. Season two just can't compare.
A&E Biographies start Sunday night with SCSA...looks like they might be good, 8 total
Saw the Austin one, thought it was good. Have heard more mixed reviews on the others, but I have them in the queue.
Just sayin': I've watched 4 so far and have another one tapped. They show you the side of the wrestler that wasn't part of his wrestling persona ( i.e. you probably didn't know about, etc.). I'm guessing that you have to somewhat like wrestling to really appreciate them; however, they're actually pretty good.

I don’t think they Fd it up, no. I just don’t think they really took the opportunity to highlight enough about how that persona really affected wrestling in that attitude era time period, or why he spiraled so far so fast. It was too...”surface”...for me.Are you saying they Fd up Pillman's episode? I haven't watched yet.
