I don't know the fight song either and I certainly wouldn't know it off the top of my head with no music or anything. I don't blame him one bit for that.

I thought the interview was great. Pryor seemed very football smart but still needs a lot of work speaking to the media. He's improved in my opinion. To this day, it blows my mind that people want to anoint Cam Newton as this almighty "quarterback," yet they trash Pryor on his QB shortcomings. Newton can't even call a real play, a snap count, or take snaps under center. "Well his arm is so much better than Pryor's." Show me! Show me NFL throws that Newton hit. Maybe I just haven't seen them. Show me a back shoulder fade that was from under center to the wide side of the field. Show me Cam Newton changing protections and going through progressions.

We all have seen Pryor make bonehead mistakes but I'm telling you, they were decreasing as he moved through here and I have all the confidence in the world in him. I don't have that same confidence in Newton. Newton is an athlete playing QB that hasn't done anything to prove to me that he can be an NFL QB. Not even close. I'd take Pryor over him any day. I'd take Christian Ponder over him as well.

I know carmen ohio only because i'm sober by the time the game is over and so the words stick in my memory better.

But for us to think that the players actually give as much a shit about the traditions as fans and alumni... get real.

Tell that to Mike Brewster....

May be the likes of Brewster should be the norm and the other the exception....at least that is what JT has been instilled in his "family". You are previleged to be playing for TOSU, be coahed by great men and adored by a great nation of fans. When they become a selfless player as the coaching staff has been teaching them to be, they will embrace the tradition...and hate michigan for life.

:oh:

This is the kind of smug shit I can't stand from Dr. Saturday's blog. I don't know Terrelle personally, but these two (Matt Hinton and Graham Watson) post these summary judgement comments like:

"...It gives me enjoyment, you know, just to put a smile on another person's face, it means the world to me."-Terrelle Are you done laughing or should I give you a couple more minutes?

Or perhaps we'll learn that Pryor is still just all about himself.

Compare the tone of that article and many of the Ohio State articles to the UNC scandal:
http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/footba...h-academic-fraud-North-Carol?urn=ncaaf-wp2870

and Auburn scandal:
http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/footba...play-but-rules-Cam-Newton-is?urn=ncaaf-290855

and it seems clear where the personal/trivial attacks become petty and not part of the story.

Considering a large portion of the players, past and present, grew up as fans first, I highly doubt that. They would have cared long before they were superstars. I doubt they stop caring once they land a schollie with their dream school.

I don't doubt that a decent number don't care as much tho.
