Bobby Hoying was the QB starter from 1993-95,
Technically he would be the 2nd winningest Buckeye QB with a 30-7-1 mark during that span.

The fact is, TP had done absolutely nothing as of 12/31/09 to justify taking any shit from the Neanderthalic faction of the OSU "fanbase".

Yes there is an MVP Trophy, or more precisely, two of them. One for the Offense (which obviously Pryor took) and one for the Defense.

The awards are Tiffany Crystal with a rendition of the Rose Bowl Trophy built into the design.

For those who missed it, the Defensive Player award went to Kenny Rowe whose performance was keyed by 3 sacks, tying a Rose Bowl record.

I remember Joe Germaine getting his as a presentation, but that was over ten years ago.(1997) There was no tv coverage of TP receiving his this year as far as I could tell. Shame! :(
Obviously, Matt Leinart getting his was shown and that was not long ago. ESPN conspiracy? :susp:

PASADENA, Calif. - In what shaped up as a potential Rose Bowl bout between a great college quarterback and one who used to be back in high school, Terrelle Pryor pulled the ultimate reversal on Oregon's Jeremiah Masoli.

In the days leading up to the game, the dynamic and electrifying Masoli was asked who was the better quarterback. "I believe I am," he said, with confidence overriding any hint of cockiness.

He was right.

For three breathless hours through nearly 100,000 bystanders it chugged, up and down, side to side, some folks fleeing, others screaming, everyone staring.

Did you see it? The University of Oregon football team saw it, and has the tire marks on its back to show for it.

Did you hear it? The college football world heard it, and the buzz will soon be deafening.

It was last seen rolling off into Heisman dreams and Ducks nightmares and bouquets of buckeyes.

And this year's Grand Marshal's Award goes to . . . Terrelle Pryor.

"You know what?" said DeVier Posey. "Wow."

Posey is an Ohio State receiver. Pryor is his quarterback.
Wow is a fact.
