Ohio State football recruit Terrelle Pryor, the nation's No. 1 quarterback, will announce his college choice today

Wednesday, March 19, 2008 Doug Lesmerises

Plain Dealer Reporter
Terrelle Pryor will announce his college choice today at noon at Jeannette High School outside Pittsburgh.
Roy Hall, Pryor's quarterbacks coach, confirmed the nation's No. 1 quarterback recruit is down to two schools, and Hall believes the choice will be what his gut has told him all along: Ohio State.
Pryor had a news conference on National Signing Day on Feb. 6 to announce he was not making a decision at the same time as most of the other top recruits in the nation. Instead, he kept his options open among Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan and Oregon while focusing on his high school basketball season.

Terrelle Pryor will announce his college selection today
Wednesday, March 19, 2008
BY Todd Porter
REPOSITORY SPORTS WRITER

Jim Tressel is on vacation. The Buckeyes are on spring break. Terrelle Pryor may give everyone something to talk about today as they all bask in the sun.

The nation's top high school football recruit will announce where he will play college football during a noon press conference today at Jeannette High School.

The 6-foot-6, 220-pound quarterback is thought to be deciding between Ohio State and Michigan.

Pryor delayed his decision on signing day last month because he wanted to take official visits to Oregon and Penn State. Neither of those visits happened.

Adding to what Deety said...we get it...everyone is nervous and everyone can't wait until the announcement and everyone hopes he chooses OSU. All of that is a given...no need to constantly keep peppering this thread with posts like that.

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

Quarterback Terrelle Pryor is expected to announce his college choice at noon today in the Jeannette (Pa.) High School auditorium. Speculation was high last night that the nation's top-ranked prospect will sign with Ohio State, but Pryor has proved he is capable of the unexpected. "It would surprise me if he doesn't go to Ohio State," recruiting analyst Bill Kurelic said. "Does that mean it can't happen? No. But at this point, I would be surprised."
Pryor's high school football coach echoed that sentiment yesterday.
"My gut says it's Ohio State," Ray Reitz told The Philadelphia Inquirer.
