WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Pryor has a LOT of competition at forward when he suits up for Matta, with 3-4 talented, experienced wings in Lighty, Diebler, Turner & Wallace. He will also compete with superstar frosh wing Buford.

I doubt he will play himself into one and done status with that roster, especially with losing precious bball chemistry & preparation during football season.

Yeah, I'd really like him to just play 1 sport though. I always look at being a 2 sport player as a negative thing. Pryor would be doubling his chances of getting hurt, and not being able to devote his time to 1 sport. The time he has doing basketball could be time that could be used to get better at football and visa versa. Not to mention having to keep up with his academic schedule.

Jeannette stops Shady Side Academy in quarterfinals

By Paul Schofield
TRIBUNE-REVIEW
Saturday, November 10, 2007

It was another typical Friday night for Jeannette.
The offense was nearly unstoppable, the defense was stout and the result was similar to the previous 10 games, another convincing victory that ended in the mercy rule. Jeannette, which is ranked first in WPIAL Class AA and No. 1 in the state by the Pennsylvania Football News, used three touchdown runs by quarterback Terrelle Pryor and two from reserve fullback James Derry to depose of Shady Side Academy, 42-6, in a quarterfinal game at Penn-Trafford's Warrior Stadium. Jeannette (11-0) advanced to next week's semifinals against Aliquippa (9-2), which defeated Mars, 42-20, last night.

WPIAL Class AA: Jeannette advances over Shady Side Academy, 42-6
Saturday, November 10, 2007
From local dispatches
If Jeannette has had a target on its back all season as the defending WPIAL Class AA champion and the top-ranked team in the WPIAL and PIAA, nobody has come close to knocking it off.
Last night the Jayhawks (11-0) punched their ticket to the WPIAL semifinals with a 42-6 quarterfinal win against Shady Side Academy (9-2) at Penn-Trafford. Shady Side Academy had allowed as many as 25 points in a game once this season.
Jeannette, which entered the game having outscored its opposition by a combined 562-38 margin, wasted little time jumping on Shady Side Academy, which was making its first appearance in the quarterfinals since it lost to Aliquippa in 2000. Jeannette posted 22 second-quarter points in taking a 28-0 halftime lead.

Cont...

Jeannette quarterback Terrelle Pryor scored on three touchdown runs in the opening half. Pryor finished with 13 carries for 82 yards. He also completed 6 of 10 passes for 130 yards.

It said he's likely dropping them, meaning he hasn't made a final decision.

And you don't see the irony of stating something like that? I'm with jlb...some of the updates that have revolved around Pryor have been plain comical.

Of course I do, but it still can make sense. Let me see if I can explain. Right now, he's still weighing his options and one of his options is Texas. But, unless he can figure out a solution to whatever problem he has with them in the next couple of weeks(maybe it has to do with visits/schedule, how to stay close to his family, etc.) he's not going to bother anymore.

At the end of the day...who cares what people are posting about Terrelle Pryor, as long as the decision to COME to tOSU is still out there. The fact that Pryor is considering tOSU, and may even be favoring tOSU is enough to get the blood boiling in EVERY tOSU fan.

OF COURSE, if someone sees that he's going to dump Texas of his list...as ironic as it may be...or as 'comical' as it may sound, THEY ARE GOING TO POST IT.

And why not.

I'd rather see the 'comical' and the nonsensical...as opposed to NOT COMING.
