WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (Official Thread)

"By the way, he will not play defense primarily...he may get in at nickel on rare occasions, but Tressel has made it clear that offense is where he is most valuable."

Link?

In regards to Gamble...why does everyone think that he was so awesome in 2002, then crappy in 2003? The Michigan game? Our normally great defensive line got no pressure that game (zero sacks), and when you give navarre time he can kill you. plus, braylon edwards is considered to be the top WR prospect in the draft.

Gamble didn't do anything on offense in 2002 (zero touchdowns). He ended up being a damn good CB that made several very clutch plays. In 2003 he played very good at CB again, but he made no clutch plays and lost on his famous bite against wisconsin. plus in 2003 we had drew carter and santonio holmes step up. both are much better WRs than gamble. carter, despite a horrific injury history, was still deemed talented enough for the panthers to take a chance on him in the 5th round. and we all know how awesome santonio is.

chris gamble was a good athlete and a very good CB. at WR, he was mediocre.

ted ginn is entirely different than gamble. their only similarities is the number 7, and the fact that they go both ways. but ginn is 1000 times more athletic and explosive than gamble, with more stamina. he won't "suffer" if he plays both ways, like gamble "supposedly" did in 2003. Ginn will dominate next year all over the field.

Gamble was a very good player who made some clutch plays.

Ginn is a once-in-a-lifetime type athlete.

Nor would I...I drive a Lexus, and had a Toyota before that. In fact, I haven't owned an non-Japanese car in over 20 years.
I got rid of my Lexus to get my Acura. I had a 99 gs300 and got tired of rear wheel drive in Columbus . The Lexus was a great car it just didnt fit my needs in the snow. The Acura has been great to me so I am sticking with Acura/Honda Lexus/Toyota til they fail me.

I got my 2001 IS300 right after I got hired at my present job after retireing from the USAF...my own retirement present. I've been quite happy with it. Before that, I had a Toyota RAV4 I had bought back in 1996 after my return from Okinawa...I had it over 5 years and 90,000 miles without any mechanical problems whatsoever (had to change tires twice and brakes once). I just make sure I change my oil and filter every 3,000 miles...Toyota/Lexus engines are legendary for their reliability (have 55,000 miles on my Lexus).

The Lexus was very good car and it was built like Brick s_it house compared to the Acura. I miss my gs everyday becuase of the color. The color was Spectra Mica blue. Their were a total of 3 in all of Columbus and surrounding suburbs. I sold that car with 98k on it . I sold it for 16500 and am quite shocked I got that much. I am sure in Hawaii you see it all.
