heard it on the radio today....that was paul keels comment DURING the reverse to ginn in the first quarter....

Wow, just imagine the posibilities the next three years, and Ginn isn't even playing his natural position right now.

If we can only get the OL to block something other than their shadow, Troy just might have some time to get the ball to Holmes and Ginn these next couple of games.

Look at this and tell me we can't go find other CB's.

TG2 as a:

Runner: 3/26 1TD 8.7 ypc

Reciever: 11/187 2 TD 17 ypr

Punt returner: 8/231 3TD 28.9 yppr

Total: 22/444 6TD 20.18

Thats 20 yds everytime he touches it and a TD every 3-4 times he touches it.

These numbers are just sick, nobody should be able to get 3td on 8 punt returns.

Great point, kind of staggering to think about it but this kid has done more than any other punt returner in the 100+ year history of OSU IN 8 FUCKING PUNT RETURNS!!!!!!!!!!!! Take a moment to let that sink in and just smile. :wink2:

in an attempt to not be a homer......i do say this....having replayed the game 3 times today and just finished with onn's replay...

ted ginn is the fastest football player i have ever seen....period...

i started watching football in the early 70's.....and this is a first.....

i have never seen a player in any sport dominate with speed like ted ginn jr has the past three weeks....

deion never did this in his prime......

Ted Ginn might be the next OSU Heisman Trohy winner. I agree with Dihard he is a long strider but his seperation is unbelieveable. Watch the slant he caught for a TD #31(a safety I assume) just got blown away. Ginn pulled away by 7 yards in a 40 yard dash to the endzone. Fellas that safety probably runs at least a 4.5 or 4.55. Ginn made him look like he had concrete cletes on.

That was Jaren Hayes, the same guy that got burnt by Braylon Edwards the previous week. He's from Cedar Crest HS in Lebanon, Pa and played in the Big 33 All-Star Game. He supposedly has 4.4 speed. Here's his 2002 Rivals profile.

Ohio State has never timed Ginn in the 40-yard dash, the measuring standard for football speed. Why confirm the obvious?

With the comments from Tressel the last 2 weeks, it's very rare to see JT praising any kid this much, let alone a true freshmen. Don't wanna get too far ahead of ourselves, but this kid could be Heisman / #1 overall pick material (gotta get A Peterson to stop what he's doing).
