WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (Official Thread)

If Teddy runs well on Thursday, I can see him getting back up there where the Dolphins would be considering him. However, what I think would be sweet, sweet music would be Vince Young tossing a ball to Teddy Ginn 60 yards down the fields- that would be something to behold. And, since I live in northern Alabama, I'd be able to see it (stupid CBS airing the Titans and not the Browns b/c of this thing called "regionality")

You know the critics are going to start chirping about his forty times. Expectations were for him to run well under 4.4.

i didn't expect that although im sure critics did. his 40 seems impressive enough but its the pass route running and other things that make me wonder what impression he made.

His 40 time isn't what most scouts were looking for. He has a workout with the Dolphins next week, so that should be a good place to improve his routes and perhaps his 40 time.

after this, i see him falling maybe somewhere in the bottom of the 1st early 2nd.

It could be a blessing for teddy, well except for the huge amount of money that he is losing out on.
But, Ginn is one of those players that is so talented that he could still get picked up anywhere.

He reportedly fell on 5 out of 6 attempts. Fell. To the ground.

Now either he's an idiot who doesn't know how to run, he has forgotten how to play football since November + 1 play of January, or there was something wrong with the surface/his ankle. How many times did he just flat out fall while actually playing football.......you know......that thing he'll actually be getting paid for? Not running 40 yards in a straight line as fast as he can, but real football.

exactly, on scouts some people think this showing really hurt his draft status.

He will now be the 4th WR taken in the draft. C.Johnson, D. Bowe, R.Meachem. Hell, D. Jarrett might even get taken before Ginn after his workout.

You may very well be right, but what I don't understand is these guys have all this game tape of TG actually playing football, but yet one bad workout, with what sounds like a still injured wheel, is going to trump all that? I don't believe that for a second...
