The two kind of go hand-in-hand. We couldn't handle their front four and Ginn's absence allowed them to blitz more.

Ginn hurt during TD celebration

I don't know if anyone has posted this or not, but an ESPN article quotes Ginn as saying that he hurt his foot while celebrating his kickoff return.

Was hearing that today. Isn't that how things go. I always wince when I watch those guys celebrate after some of those touchdowns with jumping on each other, tackling each other to the ground, etc.

reminds me of when damon moore hurt his shoulder diving into the endzone celebrating a td against michigan st. in '98- i think he stayed in, but of course we ended up getting beat back and burress torched our secondary

I think their minds are/have been made up, but it's possible.

But he limped off with an apparent sprained left ankle after blocking for teammate Anthony Gonzalez on a return late in the first quarter and was taken to the locker room.

I think Ginn's mind was made up before the season even started. No way he comes back next year. Pittman and Gonzo are also likely gone.
