Best part of the article is they mention that Newman Williams was the best player on the field at the state championship game. He was. He excelled on both sides of the ball.
He has that long run and looked like a super FB and he tackles likes he's mad. I like him better then Booker at LB, he's a natural and Booker is just a great athlete that could be a LB/DE/TE and still growing. He looks over 6 4 on the BB court. If I'm correct both first team all state

Parris Campbell ran a 4.42 Forty Electronic 40 fastest at event and had 39 inch vertical amazing for a 15 year old.

I tried looking for a "growth chart", like they have to show old tall you will be when you are 18.

All I found was this:

guys that are in the nfl and run 4.3's-4.4's now, didnt run anywhere close to those times when they were 14/15. Most probably didnt even break into the 5's.

Fast is fast. You don't go from the 5's (15 years old) to 4.4 (16 year old). If this was the case sophomores wouldn't make varsity football teams because of the vast difference in speed between 15 and 16 year olds. I simply don't buy that statement.

In coaching basketball players I've noticed that the biggest leap in terms of athleticism is from the ages of 13-16. That's when kids usually develop their hops. Even though they do get faster with age it isn't a 20% gain in a year. The gains become incremental.

Being a fast athlete and being good at running a precision race without pads are two very different things, which is why few youngsters run at their full potential.

A 4.42 electronic 40 at 15 is ridiculous right? When I saw that on Twitter I almost fell out of my chair. I know there is a big difference between 40 times and on filed with pad speed, but how many people at OSU right now could run a 4.42 electronic 40 - maybe 5?

I'm excited for this kid.

Players who could rise in next Rivals rankings

"Campbell hasn't shown up at many top-level events so far this offseason, but the buzz about him is certainly growing. The fact that he ran a 4.42, electronic-timed 40-yard dash in February certainly made a statement. Campbell is a player who will be watched closely as the camp season progresses. He certainly possesses the raw athleticism to receive a bump in star ranking, but he'll need to show more on the field"
