He was definitely dogging it to start the game. He got much better about middle of that film a little before they threw to him. But he was still noticeably throttling down as soon as he didn't think the ball was going his way.

Shocking to see. Last person I'd expect to be doing that. There were a handful of times last season where he either assumed the ball wasn't going his way or didn't give 100%, but to be jogging around and rounding out routes in his first NFL game is...not good. Maybe he's dinged up and reading coverage assuming the ball won't go his way?

Concerning…but it’s game 1 ..No playing in the preseason. Kyler not the most accountable teammate either. OC needs to make him the focal point of the game plan not a decoy.

Maybe that's the way the scheme is practiced? Don't know but maybe they've told Kyler to make his 2 reads and either throw it or run, reducing the chances that Marv could see the ball on a broken play so the jogging is conserving? The only answer is to talk to Marv and he hasn't said anything.
