WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (2022 Rose Bowl MVP, Seattle Seahawks)

Yawn.

well let’s see it’s your personality because you spend less endless time of here agreeing with each other. Try to feel important and get all bent out of shape if someone criticizes a player. Then you all gang up like old dads who sit around in their lounge chairs telling your Mrs. how creative your comebacks are.

So this is now an Alumni thread, correct?

Good point really... just allow players to leave after 1 year. Then they don't have to play charades like JSN did this year. At least after 2 years I reckon.

Agreeing with Danny Kanell of all people, solely out of butthurt, is a bad look.

Neither you nor Kanell know fuck all about JSN's injury situation, but have fun being on board with that fucking douche bag.

I've been around long enough to know there are OSU football fan boys and OSU alums. OSU football fan boys are in it for one thing, and will shit all over any OSU football player the moment he is no longer useful to their football fan boy dreams.

OSU alums support OSU year round, and appreciate OSU players as fellow OSU alums. It doesn't take much time, or a keen eye, to separate the OSU alums from the football fan boys. The football fan boys will show you who they are every time.

Yeah I spent half my time at OSU looking for my Uncle's brick we bought outside the stadium when he passed..took pictures Infront of it when I graduated in my cap and gown. Do I lash out at players occasionally for making bad plays or dumb mistakes..of course but most times I know better than to post it. I keep my yelling to myself and tone it way down if I go to a game except in the get loud area...

The shit Stroud and JSN have been accused of this last 2 weeks is damn atrocious.

Some butthurt OSU football fan boys making character judgments about kids they don't know, because they didn't beat TTUN or can't play in the CFP.

These people will never appear in a thread not related to OSU football. They are here for one thing, and fuck any Buckeye who doesn't give it to them.

Hell I lived through the cooper years 2006 OSU vs Michigan was my sophomore year and I watched it from first row upper deck. Could have sold it 2k never regret not doing it.

I was down the whole damn weekend over the Michigan game. And I hate their smug ass talking. But judging a kid as failure cause of 2 games is over the top no matter expectations. Judging a hurt player on not potentially sacrificing his career for one game is uncalled for.

Judge the Coaches all you wish they are paid millions of dollars for this. But remember the players even with NIL are still kids. Hell I would consider myself mature at 25 let alone most of their ages.

How firm they friendship... Shall always stick in my heart

thinking you have to be an alumn to be a true Ohio State fan. Arrogant take

We’ve never seen anything like this at Ohio State. Not when a good shot at a title is involved

My years at OSU were the Earle Bruce years. He sat right behind us at basketball games, and I liked him, but his football wasn't close to what we're used to now.

His last game was my last game, my only visit to the Pig House. The fan boys trashing OSU players now wouldn't have even bothered with those teams.

Thinking we have never seen anything like this at Ohio State is a clueless take. We've seen many years a lot worse than this, kid. You missed the 1980s and 1990s.

I'll own the "arrogant" label in this case. Ripping a 20 year old kid you don't know because it lessens your chance for "a natty" has football fan boy written all over it.

You don't have to be an alum.. Hell my uncle was evey bit as much as fan as I am perhaps more. The man and his sister that was an alum practically indoctrinated me growing up.

But there is hell of a lot a difference between someone who cares about the university as a whole and someone who is a fan of the team... And even then there is a big difference between someone who is a fan thick and thin and bandwagon fan etc etc

Anyways that's enough pontificating. The rule I have when it comes to college kids is the same rule I have to at work.. Don't be a jackass and things will tend to work out ok. That means show a little compassion and don't label kids failures if they have a lack of success on the field. Especially over a game or two.

Fans are short for fanatics for a reason. Both good and bad. We all say stupid shit based on emotions.. but know when to keep that stupid shit in the comfort of your own home and among your friends and family.

Don't attack the kids where they can read your shit. Twitter forums etc ...

Most of all remember what happened recently with Harry Miller and that even when shit seems perfect on the outside sometimes people go through some shit. Some shit that they can't rationally explain. Life's hard enough without being told you're a failure cause you lost a few games...

I am talking about as in a key player deciding to not play despite a real shot at a title, seeing as he knew they made the playoffs. Especially for a hamstring.

You sure are good at making baseless accusations. The kid came here, got a free ride in school, got to make a million dollars. I cannot fathom how many kids wish they had the talent he has to get all that and a shot at a national title. I appreciate more people like Tebow, who want to win it all, who have that insane drive and refuse to quit.

I am not a fanboy, I am a competitor mentality. I wish I was talented enough to be in his shoes.

When we played Bama for the title Jalen Waddle worked his ass off to come back from a broken ankle to play in it. Pre-NIL no less.

I don’t get how JSN couldn’t get back for a hammy.

training staff owes some explanation.

Just checked out your earlier work, which all happens to be in this one thread. You aren't a part of "we", and I'm not interested in any more of your fan boy clown show.

You're not owed anything, including an audience.
