After his first game of his junior season we're writing him off at QB? Not so fast my friend. Jalin is a QB recruit; there are a myriad of things to look at when translating a player to the next level, but you have to ignore HS play calling where so many, especially in Ohio, are ground dominated. Jalin is likely 16, the odds of him gaining weight and muscle by the time he is 18 (entering college) or 20 (getting on the playing field) are immensely high. Let him grow into his body, watch him develop, watch his QB workouts, and when he does throw then you have to keep an eye on footwork, mechanics, balance, touch, arm strength, accuracy, etc. Patrick Coyne after his junior season barely threw the ball and he was one of the top QB prospects in Ohio I've seen in a few years. Troy Smith first game of his junior season, many would have said the same also. Let's just wait awhile before we draw to these conclusions of moving him just yet.
