I understand what you're saying, but i've heard alot of fromer players do broadcasts that have no clue what they are doing. In theory, yes a player should make a better broadcaster.

Lou Holtz for example....Lou sounds like he is drunk when he is on air, but find me another person who knows more about college football. I may not always agree with him, but his knowledge of the game is unmarked outside of Joe Pa and the chubby guy at FSU.

Lou Holtz's lisp makes him tough to understand sometimes. But he usually says what he's thinking.

you know, "Notre Dame Rules" and "South Carolina is better than you think"

That's pretty much it.

You don't get better by dwelling on the things that you do right. D.Stan stll thinks like a player. You break down what went wrong to improve.

On BFF after the game D.S. really had alot of great things to say IMO, this game was a wake up call and it we needed to be tested like that.

I bet he doesn't get paid for that show. He probably pays them to appear on there for all I know.

I mean hell, my buddy worked with him at Rite Rug. Still think he works there as a sales manager.

You're probably familiar with Dimitrious Stanley's old threads, a certain scarlet and gray jersey that really got attention.
Even though his days as an Ohio State football star have drawn to a close, Stanley insists he's still got a uniform for everything he does. And he does a lot.

Seriously, D's had some bad ones, but was tonight his worst showing ever on "THE Fever"? He moped the whole show after Anthony called him out for making a call in hindsight, and then he had that stupid pen on his finger and waved it around for a couple minutes. Be a professional, man, have some respect!

Take care, give care.
