1. Corey Brown, Cardinal O'Hara HS (Springfield) RB- The early favorite to be the top prospect in the state next season thanks mainly to his game-breaking speed. Needs to add weight to his 6'0" 170 pound frame if he wants to be an every down back in college, but he will get that with a college weight training program. Also has great hands and is an elite return man. Tore his MCL early in his junior season, but it didn't require surgery and is expected to be 100 percent healthy by the summer. Early offers have come from Pitt, Penn State, West Virginia, Florida, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Rutgers, UCLA and many others.

Joe Paterno is off to a great start in Pennsylvania with the class of 2010. Penn State already has commitments from two of the state's top five juniors: linebacker Mike Hull from Canonsburg Canon-McMillan and quarterback P.J. Jones from McKees Rocks Sto-Rox.
For a while, it appeared another of the Keystone State's top five juniors - Corey Brown from Springfield Cardinal O'Hara - was not considering the Nittany Lions. In November, the star running back revealed a list of his top eight schools and Penn State was not among them.
But Brown has had a change of heart. He no longer has a top eight and says he will visit State College in March. Penn State was one of the first six schools Brown had a scholarship offer from. Many more have since joined in.
"With all the new offers, I don't have a top eight anymore," Brown said. "I'm looking at a lot of schools.
