Panthers make first wave of cuts

CHARLOTTE – Wide receivers Tiquan Underwood, Marvin McNutt, Kealoha Pilares and Toney Clemons are among the first Panthers roster cuts.
"We have some young (receivers) that we feel have to get a lot more reps – Philly (Brown) being one of them," head coach Ron Rivera said. "Having some of the other guys in cut into rep time.
"This is what we believe is in the best interest of the football team."
Carolina waived six players in addition to the aforementioned receivers.....

Other than the costly fumble, Philly had a good game out there. It would be awesome to see him make a big mark in the NFL as an UFA.

he was all over the field making nice catches and then the muffed punt. not a way to keep yourself in the lineup
