QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

I didn't see the game, but other than Miller and the RB Anthone Taylor, the talent is WAY down. The line play is really bad and there is no real playmaker to speak of. Braxton has all the tools in the world and I am not concerned in the slightest.

"Miller plans on graduating early and enrolling at OSU in January. That would make him available for spring practice with the Buckeyes."

That could be big. Even more so if TP opts for the draft after this season, which isn't out of the question. If TP stays through 2011, that means Miller will have two spring and fall camp's before his possiable take over as the stater.

With the assumption that Joe B and Kenny G stick around to back up TP Braxton would, in all likelihood, red-shirt his freshman season, no?

Yeah, unless Pryor takes off this year Braxton is sitting next year out. That extra spring he will get could be huge for him in terms of fighting for the job his RS-freshmen year.

Is Ohio State recruit Braxton Miller the next Terrelle Pryor?
Dual-threat quarterback dominates Ohio high school football

Ohio State recruit Braxton Miller of Wayne (Huber Heights, Ohio) is a quarterback who can run and throw - it's no wonder he's being compared to Terrelle Pryor.

Miller has continued to grow on the field, using his dual-threat abilities ? he boasts a 4.4 in the 40 and a rocket arm ? to render defensive coordinators? game plans useless. (Danny Vega)

ven after a spectacular freshman campaign in which Miller passed for 1,048 yards and nine touchdowns, his 10 interceptions and propensity to take off running at the first sign of trouble were aspects of his game that needed improvement.(Danny Vega)

He racked up 27 touchdowns and more than 1,500 total yards as a junior, leading to a No. 2 QB billing (No. 51 overall) in the ESPNU 150 and a commitment to Ohio State. (Danny Vega)

Miller?s game has progressed significantly under the tutelage of coach Jay Minton and offensive coordinator Brian Blevins. He has managed to refine his skills as a passer while still brandishing his playmaking ability out of the pocket, posing quite the conundrum for defenders.(Danny Vega)

Miller?s ability to dictate the flow of the game, whether he?s throwing the ball or evading rushers, has triggered comparisons to NFL pro bowlers Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick, as well as to the player Miller could replace at Ohio State, Terrelle Pryor.

?I watch McNabb a lot,? he says. ?(I like) his ability throwing the deep ball and putting some touch on the ball. Vick has the running ability, the speed and vision, and is able to throw on the run. My strength is like Pryor?s. I can take a hit from any person and get right back up without being a little girl or nothing.?
