Additionally, with Jim Bollman's playcalling, I have to question what kind of throws he is seeing in practice to develop himself. With the season's penchant for failing to give Braxton easy and effective throws, I would argue that he's simply not allowed to get the development he needs.

Thought some would enjoy this:

Since Braxton has been a starter he has accounted for 1,478 of 2,807 total yards from scrimmage (52.6%) and 17 of the 27 TDs (63%).

Since the Wisconsin game though, Braxton has accounted for 1,046 of 1,714 total yards from scrimmage (61%) and 13 of the 17 TDs (76%).

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State freshman quarterback Braxton Miller has earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors, the conference office announced Monday.

The Huber Heights, Ohio, native posted career highs in total offense (335 yards), completions (14) and passing yards (235) in a 40-34 loss at Michigan Saturday. Miller ran for 100 yards with a touchdown on 16 carries while completing 14 of 25 passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns.

Miller hit Corey Brown for a season-long 54-yard touchdown pass on the opening drive of the game and followed it with his team-high seventh rushing touchdown of the season, a 19-yard scamper in the second quarter to give the Buckeyes a 17-16 lead. He added a 43-yard touchdown pass to DeVier Posey to cap a back-and-forth first half that resulted in five lead changes and a 24-23 Ohio State advantage.

The award marks the second Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor for Miller and the second-consecutive for a Buckeye after Ryan Shazier garnered the award last week.

A couple of the positives I've noticed about Braxton over this season...

1. He doesn't seem to throw into blatant double and triple coverage nearly as much as TP did.

2. He is always keeping his eyes down field when scrambling.

Now, these two combined have possibly lead to a few more sacks that could have been avoided otherwise. However, there's no saying that if he got rid of the ball more often, that he wouldn't have thrown more INT's as well.

He still needs to master the third option: Throw the ball into the bleachers.

Braxton is a great QB right now. I dare not dream what he will be in his Junior or Senior seasons.

Not really - most of them are not as plugged into football as most of us here are however.
