Ohio State recruiting: Buckeyes lead for 2016 WR Austin Mack after offer

After recently receiving the verbal commitments of Joe Burrow, Tyler Green, Grant Schmidt and Liam McCullough, Urban Meyer and the rest of the OSU coaching staff have the 2015 class rolling in the right direction, but that doesn't mean they are sleeping on the very talented group of prospects in the class of 2016.

The Buckeyes handed out scholarships to a number of the top underclassman in the country this week after getting a chance to evaluate them at camp last Sunday. One of the recruits that added Ohio State to his offer list was wide receiver Austin Mack of Bishop Luers High School, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

"Camp was real good. I dominated. The part of facility I got to tour was awesome. The athletic success that Ohio State has of former players on their Wall of Fame type deal, really stood out. I called Coach Coombs for a check up and to see how things were going. He (Coombs) told me to hang on, and he had some great news, and he gave the phone to Urban Meyer. Coach Meyer told me that I have a spot on the team and welcomed me into their family with a scholarship." The junior excitedly shared with Land-Grant Holy Land not long after finding out about his opportunity to join the Buckeyes.

Not really sure where he says we lead, maybe this??

"(When I think of Urban Meyer and OSU) I think greatness, NFL and 12-0. It feels great. It's awesome. I really like the coaches and it puts them it at the top."
