GO BUCKS!
It took me freaking 4 and a half hours to get from Columbus to Massillon Ohio (which is where im from). Im home from The Ohio State University for thanksgiving with my family. I can't wait to get a NICE HOME COOKED MEAL....MMMM....but yeah the traffic was horrible and the snow didn't help much either. To add to that, me and a bunch of my friends from high school, we decided about 2 weeks ago to play a little football on Friday and Saturday. Now its gonna be a little interesting as it's supposed to be in the lower 30's to high 20's as a high both days...oh well im ready to freaking hit someone AJ HAWK STYLE BABY!

It's wierd. the thing I thought I would miss the least, the weather, is the thing that is making me most homesick. Listening to a bunch of southern, sissified co-workers complain about 40 degrees, I want to punch them in the ear.

Wow 4 and 1/2 hours.

I remember when my school was going up to play Canfield(near Youngstown). We were told it was going to be a 3 and 1/2 hour bus ride, we ended up getting there in 2 1/2 hours. Our bus driver was flying, and on the way back we got back in 2 hours 5 mins. If I remember, we got near Massillon in about 1 hour and 30 mins/45mins into the trip.

I mean of course this was in great weather too. But we were on a bus and we stopped halfway thru to stretch out and get something to eat. I can only imagine how fast we would've got there...if we didn't hit traffic jams(mostly in Akron). I knew when we saw signs that said NEW YORK CITY(A exit ramp to another freeway), we had went far. Sadly the trip ended the whole season as we lost later that night.

Yeah, everytime it drizzles a little bit or it's below 70, people here go crazy.
I miss the snow. :(

while i was walking outside from work last night, a guy coming in said, you better button up, it's snowing out.

I ran outside, seriously hoping it was snowing. never thought i would do that. it wasn't, it was a misty rain, but nowhere near snow. what an ass.

I remember it taking me 4 hours to get from Akron to Columbus the Sunday after Thanksgiving one year. The normal drive was 2 hours. As soon as I hit 71 is was stop and go. After about a half hour it was 25 MPH. It was snowing and everyone was heading back to Columbus after the holidays. Lots of cars off the road so I just took my sweet old time and made it there safely.
