Would you go alone to Saturday's Game?

NateG - I've never been to a game in Ohio Stadium and only spent minimal time in CBus. But it's my understanding that as long as you're wearing scarlet and gray and cheering for the good guys - you're never alone.

I'll never understand why people are afraid to go sporting events and movies by themselves. It's not like you need another person to enjoy it. If it was OSU versus Barbizon School of Styling I could see some doubt but USC @ night in the Shoe.

Back during the hey day of the O'Brien era in hoops I went to about a dozen games by myself the year before he got axed. People in my frat couldn't even excited about ranked Big 10 teams.

You won't be sorry for a moment going to the USC game solo.

worst. thread. ever.

you a usc fan or something..??? what am i missing here?

The main reason this is a thread to to shut my wife up about the fact that I was planning on going alone. She gets on me to no end about going golfing alone or wanting to do something else by myself. This game has been my focus all summer and I don't plan on being able to communicate in any form outside of typing/ texting/ or signing at 11:30 pm on. I knew that I'd get great feedback and wanted to rub it in her face. Now to get a good luck romp before I leave on Saturday, it could mean a win or loss in this game.

Attention Mrs. G - I'll be happy to take that ticket off your husband's hands if you have some stuff you need him to do around the house instead. No, really, it's all good. Glad to help.

Bro while reading this thread :shake: there should be no doubt in your mind about going alone, because with the # of Buckeye :osu: fans in attendence you are not alone.

I would go by myself, which I have before and had a great time being alone and met some great fellow Buckeye friends.
:osu: GO BUCKS

About 3 years ago I went to the game in Iowa City alone. It was a night game, so I had a motel room in the area. As I checked in during the afternoon, I saw a couple of other Buckeye fans doing the same thing. Had a little small talk - 'Go Bucks!', etc.

The next week I was at a sports bar near my house watching the Bowling Green game because it wasn't on free TV in Chicagoland. One of the guys I saw the week before was also there. So we talked during the game, found out that we both live in the same suburb of Chicago; and since then we've gone to a couple of games together each year. So keep an open mind, you may make some new friends.

Summing things up: yeah, I hang out with men in motels and pick them up in bars, so what's the problem?
