Calmer than you are.
If it's good to lose a game in order to regain focus, then that's one theory that will sometimes fly with me. It is not good to lose a game that prevents you from controlling your own destiny. Losing to someone other than Wisky and still being able to win out for our championship is probably the way that I would have gone.Jetfreak;766120; said:Well, thanks for stating the obvious "its never good to lose," but my point was that we haven't really won a single game we shouldn't have won. We play in a fairly week conference and are lucky we didn't have to play at Indiana this year. We lost every big road game outside of MSU. While our record looks great and we won the conference I question how we will handle ourselves in the Big Dance with no home court advantage.
First of all. That date doesn't show up on my calendar. Therefore, it never happened. Secondly. No one is saying that our basketball team is great, and that they are going to run anybody. Up until last night many were saying that Florida should still be the #1 overall seed. Even after losing two games in two weeks(now three). So. No. I don't feel that the same thing is going to happen to the basketball team.Jetfreak;766120; said:Does anyone remember Jan 8th '07? How our players (and fans) listened for weeks about how good they were, how Florida didn't belong, and how we were going to run them. Don't any of you think this could be the same type of cycle? Sometimes our offense looks so scared and inept it is embarassing. How many times do we try to get the ball to Oden and can't...or turn the ball over?
If someone disagrees with you, then they are being myopic? Sounds like a pretty myopic view to me.Jetfreak;766120; said:Lets not be so myopic here because that surely made us all look bad last time.
