It's not Friday, but it's a good day for Rebecca Black all the same.
The 13-year-old singer's critically panned synth-pop tune "Friday" has become so popular on iTunes and YouTube that downloads could net her hundreds of thousands of dollars, Forbes reported.
Black's music video, which has become a laughingstock for its low-rent concept and amateur production, has already netted more than 30 million views since it was uploaded on Feb. 10, which the financial website estimated could earn Black and record label Ark Music Factory $20,000.
The earnings should give Black a massive boost after "Friday" producers at Black's label, Ark Music Factory, gave her the chance to remove the video when comments turned vicious.
"I decided not to give the haters the satisfaction that they got me so bad," she told The Daily Beast.
"Friday" is also sitting pretty at No. 33 on the iTunes Top Singles chart, and though Apple has not yet released sales numbers, Forbes reported the song is likely to have been downloaded a few hundred thousand times at 70 cents a download.
