On Terico & Van Pelt today they were talking about how the matchup between the Wizards and the Kings the other night may have been the worst to go to in the NBA, given the venue (Sacramento), lack of stars, etc.

What are your worst matchups for professional sports, given those parameters... What teams, venue, reasoning.

I have to think about mine.
 
senators @ islanders. both teams are trying to lose, like actually trying to lose. sure the sens have some stars (alfie, spezza and heatly) but lets be honest theyve scored 108 goals, 108 goals is pathetic. plus the rink stinks. ive skated on the ocean (once) and the ice was better than it is on the island... plus the place is a dump and run down.

ill also say any baseball game. also i find nba games boring and over entertainmentized, to many bright lights, flashing signs and pyrotechnics to keep me from actually watching the game no matter how hard i try.

Reasons:

Nats suck
Fish suck
Their stadium sucks
It's 100 degrees
Baseball sucks
You could be on the beach instead of at the game.

When the ohio pro football teams suck after the pre-season hype that the Browns & Bengals are playoff pretenders. The pro fans just get pissed and discouraged after years and years off the same ole, same ole from the Browns and Bengals.
