But at least you can always get a good seat. I actually love Kent State home games. You pretty much get the whole stadium to yourself. And if you slip the coach a fiver he'll let you call the plays for a quarter. And it's nice to watch a game w/o worrying about who's going to win. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
I'm a Kent Stater as well. You know. The typical 3 freshman years at Columbus, then, back up north, close to home and back to good grades. It's great to love the Flashes because you can easily love the buckeyes, too. I hope that ESPN gameplan has more KSU games this year than last year. Living in south Florida I have to endure all the talk radio about the Hurricanes, The Seminoles and The Gators- spew! So, the GamePlan is the ultimate necessity for Ohio State, The Browns- and now- I have to get the Cavs package.

Too funny... did you see that Miami (ohio) was 16th...?? Guess when you are a power in the MAC things can look better than they seem...

I went up there and watched them play marshall a couple years ago. There more marshall fans than Kent Fans. But thats when I got my firt look at that QB Kent has. He's a beast ! And he came and scared OSU to.

Worst 1-A program this year?

At least this year I think Kent State will be topped in the worst category by the University of Idaho. The Vandals were beaten 25-0 by WSU, then were beaten 8-5 by Eastern Washington (a 1-AA Big Sky school), and last Saturday were whipped by Boise State 24-10. This Saturday they will be the sacrificial lamb for the Huskies. The Kibbie Dome, where they play their home games, seats only 16,000, which makes it the smallest 1-A stadium. And lastly UI is very close to falling back to 1AA status.

Kent has won 8 games 4 times...in their HISTORY! Ouch babe, that smarts since they started playing in 1920. Don James won 9 in 1973 (their only season winning more than 8) and had 3 winning seasons out of 4, meaning he should probably be in his own wing of the CHOF :lol:

My in-laws still always get season tickets...masochistic I guess :lol:
