What's up with the Dave Brown Duke at # 0?

Not sure. The only guess I can come up with is that they took him in the Supplemental draft or something? Anyone else have any thoughts?

Incidentally, in the 1987 draft, it lists Cris Carter as being a "0" pick as well. There is #84 at the end of the 3rd round, then he's listed as the first pick of the 4th round, #0, then there's pick #85, in the 4th round. Anyone remember what the circumstances were at that time?

Anyway, here's the link, if you want to cehck it out. Pretty cool resource for random knowledge (something I specialize in).

That is a pretty horrible list. I think Searcy and Vincent might be the only Pro Bowlers on the list, and Searcy was only good for 4 or 5 years. Brown was indeed a supplemental draft pick. Picking DTs high like Emtman and Gilbert is always a huge dice roll-sometimes you get guys like John Henderson,Marcus Stroud, and Richard Seymour, sometimes you get guys like Emtman, Gilbert, and Big Daddy Wilkinson.

I was thinking those two... Robert Porcher and Dale Carter...

Marco Coleman was around for a long time and was a pretty decent rush end for a while too.

Oh, I guess Terrell Buckley was a decent player, but I didn't notice him before.

Still, its pretty abysmal.
