Why were you organizing shows at the edge of the hellmouth?

And what exactly did the shows consist of?

Stravinsky. Lots of Stravinsky.

There is a conference room in one of the taller buildings in town that has a glass floor about five feet from the edge of the glass window/wall looking out over the city. There is nothing below the glass floor but air. It freaks some people out so much that they will not even walk anywhere near it or look down.

One Nationwide Plaza in downtown Columbus has a glass elevator on the side of the building that was incredible to take all the way up. I don't think they use it anymore. :(

Just watching that video made my stomach turn and my palms sweat and I'm not afraid of heights. It would take a special type of person to be able to climb a tower like that to work on it. But for some reason skydiving sounds awesome. If the video had been someone climbing up with the intention of base jumping off of it I don't think I would have had a problem.

I'm not afraid of heights either but that was making my stomach upset just watching it. I think it had a lot to do with the up/down motion of the camera.

I think I would rather jump out of an airplane than do that.

Canoe guide in West Virginia (think banjos, though that movie was actually set in Georgia or something)

LOL

Well that's certainly evidence that you've never been down the New River.

Ditto.

I actually enjoyed jump school, Love fast roping & rappelling and SPIE rigging is about as much fun as it gets.

I've done my share of both rock & mountain climbing (topped McKinley again just last year).

Yet super tall buildings still creep me out.

I wasn't a fan of the Sears (deal with it Willis) Tower observation level to begin with, let alone with the new vomit cubes.

Here's a building I worked at in the mid-90's.
Those of you in the IT/Computer industry, this is the original Citrix Systems building in Coral Springs,FL from about 1989-1997 or so, when they moved out East.

kinda' like an upside-down pyramid. Upper floors, as you can see, are a bit scary. We had like 2nd, 4th and 7th floors...

I was the same way watching that video. When I went skydiving a couple weeks ago I wasn't nervous at all. It was awesome.
