World of Warcraft Players

How many people on here play WoW? I would like to get an estimate because i was thinking we could start up a guild on some server with all us Buckeye fans. Also, we can get other people we know that play the game to join too.

My goal would be to make an end-game guild for raid instances and whatever else. Just let me know what you guys think about this.

I'm talking about World of Warcraft, the online RPG game. Not Warcraft III the strategy game. I'm looking for World of Warcraft (WoW) players.

Anyone that hasnt played it should give it a try. It is the best MMORPG out there, way better then EverQuest or Guild Wars.

I am what I would call a 'recreational' player. I rarely play for more than a couple hours at a time, and since I have three jobs (yes, drinking counts as a job), I rarely play more than a couple times a week. I do have a s00pr l337 60 moo dr00d on Smolderthorn, and countless other alts on various servers. If you wanted, you could start up this guild on Cho'Gall or some other server where I have a decent alt that could help out with early expenses and quest runs and...oh man. I think my balls just shrank a little. Whatever, fuck it. Anyway, like I said - I don't play much, but I'll chip in if someone else gets it up and running.

Ok...is Cho'Gall a busy server, or is there not many people on it yet? I got a 55 Shaman on Skywall, but Skywall is now full. I would like to start a new character anyways. Anyone who is willing to start a new character and would like to be apart of this guild sign the list. Just copy and paste it as your post.

I just started a few weeks ago. I've got some RL friends who play on Perenolde, so that's where I am. I've got an 18 mage, and only play casually, ~2 nights a week for 2-3 hours. I'm not terribly interested in PLing to 60 just to do high end instances. I'm enjoying taking my time.

Cool game though - way better than EverCrack, which sucked up way too much of my life. :p

Well i said my goal is to get an end-game raid instance guild. But casual people can still join. We need 10 people just to start the guild, so of course anyone can join. I wont get this guild started till about first week in May because i'm still at school.

Would you guys still be in the guild? Like i said my ultimate goal is to have an end-game guild, but people can take their time.

University of Washington plays the most Warcraft - Wednesday, May 24, 2006

Which Universities have the most gamers? University of Washington tops the list for
visitors to MapWoW. Washington is known for its computer software and game development programs, so it's not too much of a surprise. Several other tech-heavy schools make the list including RIT, Purdue, Virginia Tech (Hokies rule) and Georgia Tech. A few big name schools win out on sheer number of students, such as University of Michigan, The Ohio State University, and The University of Texas (go horns!). The state of California has the most universities in the top 25.

Forget academic or pre-season football rankings, here are the Top 25 Schools ranked according to number of visitors to MapWoW.

Interesting....never saw that before. I do know at Miami(OH) there are not many players. I found a few kids but none of them play alot. They would play like 3-4 hours a week, which is less then a casual gamer.

Once again, if people want to play on a great server with me come to Cho'gall. The server population is around 3,000 characters and not growing. it is a nice small community and you get to know people very well. Best server i have played on yet. I have a lvl 21 pally named Craftman on there, so PST me in the game some time if you join.
