WORKING Thread -- please stop in.

As tho we didn't realize this system was really sweet... it also doesn't seem to list when a moderator modifies someone elses post. That is a very nice feature, b/c its a very necessary aspect of the forum, but avoids the embarrassment for the original poster.

Ok someone make me a mod so I can go mess with jwins posts. :p

Romper Room posts are only showing up in the new threads area if you have access to RR. Ditto videos, rumors, etc.

But even that is a temporary situation. Trying to figure out how to turn exclude lists into includes now. Failing some sort of solution there, I'm just going to plug them in as-is so all that shows are the football-related forums.

hope you had a good nap. realize I was already given a proper spanking by BP (as well as an improper one by thump caught on an animated gif).

looking forward to when everything is up and running, and everyone can help you out by adding/tweaking features without as much of your help, thanks to the new vbulletin software.

Just noticing that there must be some problem with the date/time function.

Way too many posts are showing up as new or unread. All the Buckeye Leaf icons on all the forums are "bright" meaning that they contain posts that are new since my last visit. The Football Forum alone contains threads that show up indicating new posts have been added when I know they haven't. This goes back a full 8 pages before threads show up as old.

I know that isn't correct. Yes I've cleared my cache ... and cookies ... logged out and back on.

I think the problem is with the way the thread URLs are constructed. For example, your post I'm replying to now is on http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15747&page=8. Note the portion of the URL where it says "t=15747&page=8". IIRC, the older version of vBulletin used some like "t=15747&startpost=160" or something like that...whatever it was, it was slightly different that what the new server generates, so all the pages on the new server will have different URLs than the exact same page had under the other server, and thus seem to be totally different (i.e., "new") pages to browsers.
