When I was stationed at Okinawa still, I worked at the American Forces Radio Network as the afternoon DJ. Each year we'd get thousands of $$ worth of prizes to give away to troops who had to work on Christmas. Of course it meant I'd work Christmas too, but it was the most fun working I ever had. People loved it, it was just hours of troops stories, giving away gifts and playing Christmas music.

My radio moniker was DJ T, so we called it the In-Santa-T Christmas Show.

Anyway, just a feel-good story to help get you all by. Hope you have a good Christmas despite and thanks to each of you for your efforts working on Christmas. Although it feels pointless, your contributions are vital to society as a whole and very much appreciated.
