Woody Hayes Facility....

I'm not sure tours for the WHAC. All the trophies are still in the lobby for the most part and you can just go and see them. And Tibor just so you know the tours you get to go to the locker rooms, and press boxes etc. So fuck off camel fucker

I would love to get together with some fellow BP'ers and do a tour. Can grad21 or anyone with connections set this up or tell us how to.

Funny that this thread got started. I was just thinking yesterday how much I would love to do that and wondering if I would ever get to.

They are getting ready to renovate and move the coaches offices across the street to the Fawcett Center during the renovation so you better hurry up and take a look before it becomes a construction site.

I'd wait until after the renovation to get to see it brand spanking new.

When I was about 12, I was attending the Winter Baseball Camp held at the WHAC and a janitor was kind enough to take us on a personal tour for free...It was awesome...Saw the weightroom, lockerroom, Coaches rooms, film rooms and many other places....The best part was going into the locker room and seeing my favorite players locker at the time which was Alonzo Spellman. I got to try on his ol' school football cleats on and my entire foot w/shoe could fit in his cleat....My mom actually taped the whole tour...It was a pretty cool experience...I was also a huge Raymont Harris fan at the time as well......Anyways, just thought I would share one of my fondest childhood memories....Also, a note to self....Don't ever get like 5 guys holding hands and drag your feet across the turf and touch the metal wires on the tarp hanging from the ceiling with a baseball bat...Talk about putting some hair on your ass...

Heres a hint, never go "skins" on the AstroTurf outside. We had to go skins in one of our 7 on 7 games while at the camp. Talk about rug burn.:mad1: Also NEVER put your hands or stick your fingers in/on the FieldTurf inside or outside. You wouldn't see a problem with it until you saw how many people where just spitting all over the place. Now i understand on real grass, but come on, spitting on artificial turf?

He's referring to the static electricity that would build up and shock the hell out of you.

I went to the same baseball camps as well.

I had a friend who was a manager who showed me the whole place. If you dont have one, oh well, too bad.

I knew a couple guys who were managers back around 1992-1996, and had the pleasure of "partying" with their crew a couple of times. Fat, drunk, and stupid would be a fair description of those losers. What a bunch of stupid derelicts. You should be really proud of that friendship Mr. Incognito...
