Baby left in car while mom at strip club left her infant boy in an unheated car while she and a friend went into a local strip club was jailed early today on a preliminary charge of felony neglect, police said.

Kokomo Police Lt. David L. Galloway identified the 22-year-old woman as Tiffany Eagle of rural Kokomo. Also arrested, he said, was Ashley Tomaszewski, 21.

According to Galloway, police had responded to a report of an unattended child inside a parked car at Big Daddy’s Showclub near 3 a.m.

Investigating officers said the car was not running when they arrived. Both women were found inside the bar and were arrested on preliminary charges of public intoxication and felony neglect.

The child, who was not injured, was released to a family member.

The Howard County Child Protection Service was notified.
