(February 9, 2007) ? Her confession was all a lie, self-proclaimed "#1 Mom" Wendy W. Wilkins said Thursday when she was ordered to prison for helping her boyfriend rape her 15-year-old daughter.
Before Monroe County Court Judge Richard A. Keenan ordered Wilkins to prison for 1 1/3 to four years for third-degree rape, Wilkins said she falsely confessed and wasn't around when Miguel A. Colon raped her daughter in their Rochester home. "I don't know what everyone is trying to pull, but it's a lie," said Wilkins, who wore a red T-shirt emblazoned with the words "#1 Mom" when she appeared in court for her arraignment last year.
