The only thing that could stop this team this year is injuries, said that before the first kickoff. It'll take more than the ones happening too, thank God.

Hopefully just precautionary since hammies can act like they are getting better then a tweak and it's now serious. Just keep him out until he's 100%, we have it covered.

This is what I was worried about when they said it was a Hammy. It's one of the most nagging of injuries. He could be fine in 2 games then reaggravate it in practice doing nearly nothing.

Minnesota and Wiscy have a common opponent

they’ve both played the fighting Jerry Kills (NMSU)

Minnesota’s defense had a better day, though that’s splitting hairs as NMSU’s passing offense is so bad that it might be the second worse unit in the country (UMass may have the worst passing offense since the invention of the forward pass)

Mertz had a better day than Morgan against NMSU. A lot better

PE vs NMSU
Morgan: 145.35
Mertz: 273.23

That’s a data point, but as streaky as both of them are, you can’t really draw any conclusions

It is undeniable that it is a dramatic difference though
