So disappointed in this team and this season. Sloppy play, poor fundamentals, missed opportunities...everything a team can do wrong, this team does it at the worst times. I don't see how they make it past the sweet-16, hell, depending on matchups, even the 2nd round. Just a mess.

This team isn't as good as last year's team. At some point, we have to be realistic in our expectations.

10-19 from the line, 10 turnovers in the first half, and the inability to put Wisconsin away when they had them down by 8 are the keys. Credit Wisconsin, they kept battling and hit big shots down the stretch, especially Taylor. I'll be happy when he is gone.

No consistent three point shooter on this team and the free throws are painful to watch. The Bucks have talent but have been woefully inconsistent all year. They look like world beaters against the Illini and look like shit down the stretch against Bucky.

We'll make it out of the first round and second round. For one, we won't have to play in the first round because of the renaming of the rounds. Second, the second round is played on a weekday. We play well enough to win on weekdays. We're going to have problems with the third round, because we've forgotten how to play on Saturdays and Sundays. :smash:

That's a part of it, but not the whole story. They lack chemistry. They lack mental toughness. They lack cohesion on offense. They are very average shooters. This team misses Jon Diebler and David Lighty. Nobody on this team brings close to what those guys did. Our star players also disappear from games for alarmingly long periods of time with alarming regularity. They just aren't elite. Pretty good. Not elite.

i especially find this move baffling given the outcome. it was a brain-dead decision. the assistant coaches are as much to blame as matta. this should never happen.
