I hate to tell you this, but I think she's right. Sounds like she has been extremely tolerant of your Buckeye addiction so far, so you may owe her one. and by one, I mean ONE. Should be a valuable 'card' for you to play for the next couple of years too.
It never seems to work that way. Only women can use events more than 3 weeks old as a leverage. If we try it, we are "rehashing old stuff". If they do it it "was just like yesterday".
Trust me, you'll give in, hate sitting through the wedding, your wife may get frisky (women always do at weddings), and you'll get some attention that night if the baby gives you two hours of free time.
Law of Marriage #1: 'Tis easier to get forgiveness than permission.
Am I missing something? Stay home with the new baby and watch it on tv. That's "billable" time. I almost (almost) wish we had a new baby every college football season.
The obvious solution is to break up the bride and groom.... then the wedding is off and you can go to the game. Everybody wins :). But seriously... if you stay home you should be able to go to any future games with out any problems because you'll be able to use this..... just don't act like you're doing it as a favor to her... you're doing it because you want to :p
