Well I mean let's be real here... they have played some of the worse offensive teams in college ball.

Wisconsin will not run the ball on us period. Our coordinators have proven that they'll take away the one thing you want to do as an offense. So I fully expect to take Taylor out of the game and our back 7 is just too talented for their skill.

Expect one of those graphics by fox that says the following.

Wisconsin points allowed last 3 weeks: 10 points (Illinois guess).

Wisconsin first quarter against OSU: 17

Bottom line is these dudes have seen nothing on offense and I think MSU is better upfront on defense anyways.

There’s an argument to be made that OSU has seen absolutely nothing offensively either — a really strong and substantive one. Therefore, I struggle with just assuming UW just won’t be able to successfully rush. I understand that UW’s offense isn’t as “dynamic” or skillfully talented as ours, but still.

Ultimately I feel hopeful because we can throw defensive line personnel at them in waves. 4/5 deep at DE; 4/5 deep on the interior. My biggest fear is watching Borland try to chase Taylor down toward the boundary. Hopefully we have Friday back for it since he’s particularly good against the run.

I don’t think it’ll be easy for us offensively either. At the very least, I think we have an encounter early on similar to what we witnessed against MSU; they’ll bring a ferocious intensity and respectable tactical approach which causes us to struggle or go scoreless for a quarter. Thus far I love the combo of Day, Wilson and Yurcich. Even if they encounter early struggles I’m confident in their ability to adjust.

I could go on and on, but I’m more reserved. Doesn’t mean I don’t feel good about it though.

Yeah, I think Wisconsin will move the ball, actually mostly on PA and a wheel route or something. But agree about depth being a difference as the game rolls on. I'm interested to see if White actually gets a lot of time in this one. Not as Bullet but in place of Wade as another run stopper.

The Urban Analysis on BTN last night addressed the Wisky passing game and Urban was very high on what they are doing schematically and how Coan executes that scheme. If you focus enough on Taylor and Coan gets the ball out quickly they can present some formidable challenges regardless of how good our back 7 plays.

And if you are not regularly recording The B1G Show and catching Urban Analysis you are missing out.

Yup. Anything could happen in that Wiscy game but it seems like they are a legit team to be concerned with.

Over the last few weeks, Coan has been dropping some dimes. Watching them play early on in the season, they looked very one dimensional and it seemed to be a case of shutting down the run to beat them.

Going to have to get to him quick, because he can get the ball out in a hurry and hit his target. Pressure, pressure, pressure. We all know they have some beasts up front, so winning in the trenches will be extremely important for this one.

Fortunately, we have our own group of slobs on the line. Going to get nasty.

And frankly, he's so damn good at what he's doing, any coach playing one of the teams he breaks down would be doing themselves a disservice not to include his analysis in their film breakdown.

I gotta wonder how much Urban and Day talk these days... While I have more faith in this staff than any in recent memory (have to go back to Ash / Herman days for any that would challenge), I think that Urban's Analysis is pretty much a Cliff's Notes guide for scouting {insert opponent here}.

He's not yet broken down tOSU has he?
