Has "Wired Magazine" replaced "Popular Mechanics" as the culture magazine of this generation?
I'm a subscriber and I really enjoy it's EXPANSIVE coverage.

This is not a pole so much as an open question about what magazines are popular right now.

For broad coverage there is no better publication than Playboy.

Wired is outstanding... great blend of technology, gadgets, culture and a nice mix of world issues (geographical, political, etc).

Well worth the subscription price, but even better for 3 years at $6 (thank you ebay!).

I'm also thinking "EXPANSIVE" was a telling choice of words, but that's just me.
